
JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative I Part Time

FLSA JOB STATUS : Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Customer Service Representative III
Under general supervision, but in conformance with established policies and procedures, serves the bank’s customers by processing all types of transactions, inquiries and referring customers for appropriate services in a professional manner while providing prompt, accurate service. Assist with the clerical servicing necessary to maintain these accounts. Cross sells/refers bank products and services.
1. Represents the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Provides prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing transactions and answering questions.
3. Consistently meets or exceeds sales/referral goals.
4. Maintains a balancing record that is in line with the Bank policy; have the ability to find and correct outages and enlist the help as needed for more difficult errors.
5. Maintains a well-developed knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered; taking responsibility to keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs.
6. Initiates sales/referrals and be capable of effectively cross selling bank products and services.
7. Handle customer problems/concerns with professionalism
8. Continues to increase knowledge and skills through self-motivation, formal education, seminars and in house training.
9. Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential.
10. Maintains security of cash drawer, follows guidelines on cash limits.
11. Maintains knowledge and complies with all Bank policies and procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experienceExperience: Experience preferred but not necessary
Skills: Ability to perform basic math functions and operate office machines (calculator, computer) ability to present a professional image, good communication skills, work in a team environment, as well as independently, with co-workers and customers.
